Studying techniques: Music or no music

Although I may not be student anymore, I deem my work as an ongoing academic course. Yup, I still consider myself as one who keeps on learning and facing educational challenges just like what students encounter in school. When one is working with writing content for websites, she is challenged with how to focus on the article at hand. There are many ways to aid one in studying, such as word association, repetition, visual aids and other techniques to help understand and memorize words, sentences and concepts.

Personally, I use varied techniques when studying, and music is one of them. When I was still a student, I remember solving mathematical problems with my favorite rock songs blaring loud in the background. It may be the aggressiveness coming from the drums, the synths, the 8 string guitar or whatever musical instrument is featured in the song, and the high volume somehow motivated my brain cells to tackle those difficult formula and equations. LOL.

Nowadays I work with loud music when editing some images or tinkering with a website template. The only time I turn off the music player is when I do research or write content as this needs full concentration from me. Music is truly a big help for me when working, and having it in the background gets me motivated and inspired.
