One of the incentives most businesses set up for their clients are loyalty rewards which usually come in points. From credit cards to department stores, a rewards system is offered to customers to gain loyalty, giving them points for every purchase or availing of their services. Credit card companies compete for having the best rewards system they could give their clients, from points accumulation to discounted shopping and dining and even free meals.
Even business hotels provide such incentives to their loyal clients such as loyalty programs giving rewards points for companies that book for conferences and events. Clients signing up for business club membership are given vouchers, hotel discounts, raffle tickets or airline miles aside from the usual reward points.
When it comes to credit card rewards, shopping activities are oftentimes influenced by ongoing promos for minimum purchase at different amounts. For instance, BPI clients get free pizza or chicken combination meals at minimum single-receipt purchases of Php2000, Php6000 or Php12000. This encourages their clients to add more to their carts so they can meet the minimum promo amount.
