Photohunt: Nautical souvenirs from Finland

Whew, I haven’t been able to do some Photohunting for more than three months now, and I do miss Photohunting! Well, finally here goes my entry for this week’s theme “nautical”.

nautical-souvenirs

These are miniature polyresin objects from Rayher Hobby Kunst (www.rayher-hobby.de) which I bought from a hobby shop in Pori, Finland. I also bought a small wood frame where I can glue these nautical-themed objects. I love arts and crafts and haven’t done any creative piece for ages already. These items are still waiting for me to be worked on as a handcrafted souvenir from a Nordic country.

Here’s to a fun and love-filled Valentine’s Day to you all! 🙂

Hi Betchai, the pieces are not yet arranged and I have yet to glue them to a wood frame, then add a magnet at the back so I can stick it to our ref. Hmmm… maybe I’ll post a photo when I’m done with it. Sigh. These days I still have some waiting tasks on my To-Do list.

Hello Gen, thanks! those are really cute items, they’re so small. the starfishes are just less than an inch. happy valentines to you too! 🙂

Julie, there were even more interesting arts and crafts pieces at the hobby shop, such as miniature doll house items, (nope not the polly pocket plastic ones) and they really look real such as tiny wooden chairs and beds. I haven’t checked out all their items though, but I think they do have those craft projects for painting.
