Just counting…

Days pass me by like a blur when I am busy with life, but they seemed like forever when I am waiting for things I hoped for.

Keeping track of time, counting the days and months, made me feel…

  • A little pleased with myself – ‘cause I was able to keep up with my daily rendezvous with the PDL book (except when I was in Cebu) and I’m on the 29th Day now.
  • Very sad – my cutie sis will be leaving for Europe to be with her hubby, and I don’t know when we’ll be seeing each other again… A year after? I really don’t know.
  • A bit impatient – my PRC license will be released after two months yet (that’s what I get for sleeping on my profession after many years).
  • So grateful – when I remember God’s limitless blessings as the days went by.

Strangely enough, last week, we attended the funeral of a relative; his death came as a surprise for us. Then my Uncle J was confined in the hospital for a major surgery and is now recovering at home. We visited him after having the farewell dinner for my cutie sis and my cousin D who will be leaving for the US. So… some people are leaving, some are celebrating birthdays and milestones, some people are getting sick, some people are dying.

It’s better not to count the days I guess. They just come and go. So I’ll just seize each day and live it as if it’s going to be my last.

Lots of things happened to you lately huh! I can be such a cliche but the experiences we have (whether good or bad) cannot be discounted because it hones us to the person we are supposed to be.

I hope you have a great week ahead 🙂 Bon Voyage to your Sis by the way.
