Christmas preparation

Christmas is now here, and aside from the Christmas lights, Christmas decors of all kinds, Santa Claus of all sizes, the Christmas trees that are in every home, Christmas carols and songs are also in the air. The ”belen” (the nativity scene in miniature), also of all makes and sizes, which depicts the scene of the birth of our Lord Jesus is also given a prominent place in the living rooms of Christian families.

Notable are also the parties that go with the season. Talking of parties or get-togethers, different variations of food and menus come into play. The necessary things then that come with food follow to be attended to: things like the plates, the utensils, tablecloths, table runners and even the trays for serving. To perk up your tables, there are companies that offer different choices of designs for table skirts, white economy tableskirting not excluded.

This Christmas is kind of sad for Filipinos though, because of the visit of the notorious freak of a very destructive storm, Yolanda (international name: Haiyan), which many say is the strongest that has hit the world (God forbid any other like that would happen again!).
