Butterflies are fleeting creatures, not just because of their short life span but, sigh, they’re so difficult to catch…even just taking a shot of them with a camera. They would flutter away just with a slight movement near them.
I was marveling at the old ruins in Wat Yai Chai Mongkol in Ayutthaya, the ancient capital of Thailand, when I saw colorful butterflies among the flower bushes. After so many failed attempts, I had to stand still nearby and was quite ecstatic when I finally was able to take a decent shot like this.
I’m just grateful for bringing a digital camera which allows me to take lots of shots without me worrying of wasting rolls of films. I’ll be posting more about Ayutthaya soon.
