At the Rose Garden, Petrin Hill

Last weekend we were at the Petrin Hill again, and this time we took the ride up to the top of the hill via the Funicular Railway. We were so tired from our long walk around Prague that afternoon, so we spent time resting in one of the benches at the Rose Garden.

This is where you can see so many roses grouped in varied colors – from white, to light pink, dark pink, yellow, and lavender to deep dark red. Too bad, the cameraโ€™s battery was dying, so I was able to take just few shots. Here are some of the close-up photos I took:

Thanks for the appreciation! Those lovely roses are best seen for real though. ๐Ÿ™‚

Yup entrance is free, but going up the hilltop, you have two options, you can ride their funicular railway at a cost or walk all the way to the top which can be very exhausting.

regarding the blue roses, there were no such color at the rose garden but I did receive one from maminka. ๐Ÿ™‚ blue roses are not natural roses, they’re just dyed white roses. you can read more about it in my post here: http://www.ideasnpink.com/2008/08/05/blue-rose/

Marly:

thanks! roses are attractive flowers indeed especially if you have a garden full of them. a wedding in a rose garden is simply romantic, so I bet yours was. ๐Ÿ˜‰

regarding my blog’s PR, yup I am aware of that… I’m actually hoping it would move up since it gained PR during the previous google update.
