Simulating a dark room for that perfect sleeping environment

I can’t believe it I slept for more than 8 hours and woke up at almost 10 am this morning. I guess I just lack a lot of sleep with our busy schedule before my parents and cutie sis left for Prague last Tuesday. Among other health concerns, sleep is very much important to me. If I don’t get enough sleep, I often get migraines and lack the energy to make it through the day’s activities. With the sun setting at almost midnight here in Finland, it’s usual to have daylight during late evenings and it makes you wish to have a darker room for that perfect sleeping environment. What I do is just cover my eyes with cloth to block some light and it usually works.

Another option for simulating a dark room is to use window blinds to shut off the sun’s rays during evenings when you’re off to dreamland. With a lot of new styles for window blinds, the bedroom becomes the perfect place for rest. I browsed over a wide range of window blinds at Blind Central online and there are many options when it comes to being stylish for the bedroom as well as blocking the sunlight from coming in. They carry premium brands such as Hunter Douglas, Levolor and Bali window blinds. Other than the usual vertical blinds, they have Roman shades, horizontal sheers, or pleated shades or you can also request for custom blinds to suit your design ideas.
